Woolworths NetSetGO is Netball Australia’s entry level program. It teaches children the basic skills of netball. It gives children aged 5 to 10 a positive introduction to netball, through skill-based activities, minor games, music, dance and modified matches. The program promotes a healthy, active lifestyle and helps children develop important social skills, like team work. With three tiers Net, Set and GO, the program is designed especially for children to transition into junior netball with confidence.

SET Resources

Resources and guides for our NetSetGO Set program, supporting young players as they learn skills, build confidence, and enjoy their first steps into netball.

The Set tier is an introduction to the sport of netball and incorporates skills, activities, modified matches and uses modified equipment. It is a skill and competition-based program that allows children to learn and develop their skills in a series of fun activities and minor games, which can then be applied in a match situation.

The handbook is designed to assist volunteers to follow the requirements of Woolworths NetSetGo easily and efficiently. It aims to make a coach’s role easy to understand so they can assist with the delivery of program sessions. With this handbook and the information provided by Netball WA, coaches will be able to plan and coordinate the delivery of a successful Woolworths NetSetGo Centre.
